Ronacrete Ltd introduce Ronadeck MMA Surfacing Systems
Ronacrete Ltd have launched a range of MMA flooring systems onto the UK market. The new range complements perfectly Ronacrete's existing range of polymer, resin and cementitious screeds and increases the flooring options available to clients, specifiers and contractors.
The system has a European and World track record dating back to the 1950's and is a widely specified flooring system for commerce, leisure, transport and industry.
The launch brings a tried and tested product range into Ronacrete's own flooring range which has served the UK, European and Far Eastern flooring industry well since its development since 1969. The Company introduced the Ronadeck MMA range at a major exhibition in London in March 2005.
Ronacrete have developed its own flooring systems over its 36 year history and in the early 1970's was invited to join FeRFA, then the Federation of Resin Flooring, now the Resin Flooring Association. Today Ronacrete's flooring range currently comprises polymer and resin screeds, coatings and repair. However the introduction of the Silikal range brings Ronacrete into architectural finishes and high performance decorative floors for commercial, retail, leisure, sport.
The Ronadeck MMA range is based on Methyl MethAcrylic (MMA) resin which offers many benefits including very fast cure, high early strength, excellent physical and chemical resistance, decorative, slip resistance.
Ronadeck MMA floors can be trafficked within only 1-2 hours of application of the final coat; complete application from primer to trafficking can take as little as 3-5 hours. Their unique formulation allows application at "normal" ambient temperatures and down to -30oC allowing work in freezer rooms and cold stores.
Products are manufactured by Silikal, a company with 50 years experience in this very specialist field and at the forefront of MMA resin technology. Silikal products have been used across the world in airports including San Francisco, sports stadia including 2004 Olympic Games venues, in motor manufacturers including Ferrari. Ronadeck MMA installation is by licensed contractors.
