Our History
When Maurice Osen founded Ronacrete on 1st April 1969, epoxy and polyester mortars were in vogue for repairing concrete, laying floor screeds, bonding brick slips to concrete. Recognising that newer technologies existed to achieve the same result he promoted Ronafix as an alternative.
Easier and cheaper with long term benefits, the industry quickly converted to this simple but effective alternative. Of course today “resins” still have their place in the market and Ronacrete continue to offer a range of fast cure high performance epoxy, polyurethane, methacrylate and polyurea resins where cement/polymer mortars cannot provide the required performance, or appearance.
In 1978 the British Board of Agrement awarded the first of seven BBA Certificates to Ronacrete products, confirming the use and performance of Ronafix.
Today the product range satisfies the needs of Architects, Engineers, Surveyors, Designers and many other professionals, together with the practical and performance demands of their clients. Similarly contractors endorse the practicability of the products by specifying, buying and applying them in ever increasing volume.
All products are manufactured under a quality approved scheme certified to ISO 9001:2000, some are covered by BBA Certificates, for others it is possible to obtain an independent 10 year Insurance Backed Guarantee.
