New MP hits the road (repair)

Recently elected Conservative MP Robert Halfon visited Ronacrete's offices as he introduces himself to local businesses, meets their employees from within his constituency and promotes his policies for the area.

Ronacrete were keen to educate Robert in the products they manufacture and promote for road repair, and particularly for filling potholes. This was of particular interest to Robert as he is aware of the many potholes on the roads not just in his constituency but across the UK.

Ronacrete was established in 1969, coincidentally the same year in which Robert was born. After hearing about how Ronacrete has grown to become a significant player in the specialst construction chemicals industry, and a notable local employer, Robert was keen to get his hands dirty and have a go at using the company's RonaRoad EcoPatch Pothole Repair.

In a mock up in the car park Robert was first shown how RonaRoad EcoPatch is simply poured into a pothole and compacted with a tamping rod. And just as he earlier this month took up office with much ceremony and aplomb, Robert was handed the tamping tool and finished off the repair in quick time.

Recognising the commercial and environmental benefits of the product, Robert will be promoting RonaRoad and its use to local and national officials.
