Fast drying screed speeds up student

accommodation refurbishment

 

Ronacrete screeding products were used in the refurbishment of student accommodation in Islington, North London. Contractors CCS Drywall Ltd installed nearly 1,000m2 of Ronacrete Ronafix Pre-packed Screed to the new 125 bed student accommodation. The refurbishment was commissioned by UNITE Group the UK’s largest manager of branded student accommodation. The scheme included 125 bedrooms, bike storage, common rooms and 1200sq.ft of commercial space.

CCS pumped the screed across the seven storey building using a Putzmeister M760DHB screed pump. Screed thicknesses ranged from 10-50mm across the site and were laid bonded with Ronacrete Standard Primer.
