RonaScreed 8 Day Overlay and RonaScreed FastDry Prompt

On 1st July 2021, RonaScreed 8 Day Overlay will be replaced with RonaScreed FastDry Prompt.

Several months ago, we developed a new product based on the same technology as RonaScreed 8 Day Overlay, called RonaScreed FastDry Prompt and achieved highly impressive results that were superior to RonaScreed 8 Day Overlay in every way. Vinci Technology Centre verified these results. We have since conducted further testing using an increased dose of RonaScreed FastDry Prompt in a screed mix, and the results were significantly better.

What are the benefits of RonaScreed FastDry Prompt?

RonaScreed FastDry Prompt has been designed to reduce the drying times of screeds. This allows for earlier covering with moisture sensitive floor coverings, such as carpet, tiles, vinyl and timber flooring. The accelerated drying also allows the commissioning of underfloor heating to commence far earlier than with traditional sand/ cement screeds.

  • Cover 50mm screeds after only four days
  • Cover 75-100mm screeds after only six days.
  • Commence commissioning of underfloor heating after only two days.
  • Cost-effective – from as little as £1.00 per m2 (based on 50mm screed)
  • High 24-hour compressive strength
  • No license required.

For the past few months, we have been manufacturing RonaScreed 8 Day Overlay and RonaScreed FastDry Prompt; however, from 1st July 2021, we will only be manufacturing RonaScreed FastDry Prompt. Below is a comparison table to demonstrate the improved performance of RonaScreed FastDry Prompt compared to RonaScreed 8 Day Overlay.
